My name is Maurizio. I was born in Novara and grown up in Oleggio,
a small town close to Novara and the Milan Malpensa Airport. My best
friends still live between Oleggio and Novara while, in the late 2004,
I moved to Trento, in order to be enrolled in a PhD programme at the Department
of Sociology and Social Research.
During my life I've done a quite wide number of things, from short
movies to be a volleyball player and trainer (and working in a
supermarket, taking a degree in Political Science, being a beer lover,
etc...). Probably the things which best represent myself are connected
with my birth year: 1977. In this year, the political situation in
Italy was very difficult, only in the month of June, when I was born,
twelwe journalists were gunned by the Red Brigades. At the same time,
Star Wars was showed in the cinemas. I am completely a mixture of these
elements, in which way is something people knowing me can understand.
If you haven't ever met me, you could take these adjectives as a brief
summary: non-violent, dreaming and determined. At the end: thank you
